The strange thing however was that with Intel + Oculus Runtime installed Windows 7 would only boot if the 2nd display was attached. I uninstalled/reinstalled the Intel drivers in safemode, rolled back to older ones ( Windows 7 did not like this and gave me BSOD, with or w/o the external display plugged ) and in the end I went on with uninstalled the Oculus Rift runtime and everything was back to normal.
